# Address Book

> Save, label, and manage the blockchain addresses you care about.

The address book lets signed-in users save the wallets, contracts, and tokens they work with and give them human-readable labels.

<Info>
  The address book requires an account. Sign in at [nikiwa.com](https://nikiwa.com) to use it.
</Info>

## Saving an address

When Nikiwa [detects an address](/product/chat#address-detection) in your message, hover it and choose **Save**. Give it a label such as "Treasury" or "Binance hot wallet" so you recognize it later.

## Why labels matter

Once an address is saved, Nikiwa shows its label everywhere that address appears: in new answers, in modules, and in detection tooltips. Anonymous hex strings become names you recognize, which makes counterparty and flow analysis far easier to read.

## Managing entries

From the address book you can:

* **Edit** a label to keep it meaningful as your understanding changes.
* **Copy** an address to the clipboard.
* **Remove** entries you no longer need.

<Tip>
  Labeling the addresses that recur in your work pays off most in counterparty and token-flow [modules](/product/modules), where a labeled graph is far easier to follow than raw addresses.
