# Reporting a Scam Address (OSINT)

> Submit an address to Nikiwa's OSINT database for fraud, hacks, blackmail, or other malicious activity.

Nikiwa lets any user contribute open-source intelligence (OSINT) on a malicious address, strengthening the risk flags shown in wallet analysis for everyone. Open the report form from the info icon in the sidebar.

## Submitting a report

  <Step title="Choose a type">
    Select the category that fits: Fraud, Hack, Blackmail, or Other.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add the address">
    Enter the blockchain address involved. It must be a valid address on a [supported chain](/essentials/supported-networks).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add supporting details">
    Optionally include a URL for evidence, your contact email, and a description of the incident (minimum 10 characters).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Submit the report for review.

Verified reports feed into the risk flags and alerts (such as "Exploiter" or "Malicious Address") shown whenever anyone analyzes that address in Nikiwa.
